A Different Power

Our thirst for power is no different than that of the disciples. Jesus would say that our obsession with importance and influence is not okay. Peter ends his letter reminding the church they are called to lead in ways consistent with the life of Jesus. The way of Jesus is servant leadership, it's anchored in a power that is not coercive and destructive, but creative and life-giving. Listen as Rev.
