What's my Calling? - Week 1 // April 27, 2025

Following an incredible Easter weekend, Pastor Jeni moves us into a new series titled, “What is my Calling?”. Within this sermon series she will be covering the calling given to us by God specifically in three ways: Calling, Appointment, and Assignment. In week 1 of the series, Pastor Jeni preached on the difference between the general and static Call of every believer to “follow me” and the Assignment that can be more fluid and changing throughout our lives. Join us as we seek God’s will for our lives and learn how to imitate Christ together.

Things to consider as you listen:

  • We tend to think “The Call” is to a specific ministry, position, or title.

  • Calling - “set apart as holy”

  • The Call is to follow.

How do we become “set apart as holy”?

  • We FOLLOW the one who IS the very definition of holy!

  • You cannot imitate someone you do not know.

  • The call to follow Jesus can be lived out no matter what our assignment is.
