The Apostles Creed - Week 8 // August 3, 2025

• At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit was not entering the picture for the first time. The Holy Spirit was engaging with humanity in a new life-transforming way.

• The Spirit enables us to do what Christ did in his human body.

• The power of the one who stole the keys of hades right out of the hands of evil lives within us!

• The forgiviness of sins is what binds us together & keeps us together.

• ALL humans from ALL times and ALL places can find common ground in at least 1 area: Sin.

• The way we forgive others is often a reflection of how forgiven we feel.

• The Holy Spirit illuminates areas in our lives where we are still wearing the chains of unforgiveness.
